Payment & Information Collection
We collect website visitor data such as IP addresses, pages visited, browser, and operating system to improve user experience. Non-identifying, aggregate information is used to enhance site design.
We utilize a third-party online billing resource through Squarespce, to collect payment information which offers secure data protection. It offers security protection through:
End-to-End Encryption: Squarespace utilizes SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols to automatically encrypt all web traffic and data submitted during checkout. This prevents hackers from intercepting sensitive information like credit card numbers.
Payment Data Encryption: Sensitive cardholder data is converted into secure, unreadable code, preventing unauthorized access or fraud.
PCI-DSS Compliance: All built-in commerce tools and payment processors (including Squarespace Payments, Stripe, PayPal, and Square) utilize PCI-compliant servers and frameworks to handle card data securely.
Secure Bank Authentication: For payouts, Squarespace uses Plaid to securely connect your bank account to your payment system.
Transaction Monitoring & Authentication: The platform features instant transaction risk monitoring to actively block fraud. For specific regions like the European Economic Area, it automatically enables 3D Secure (Strong Customer Authentication) to require extra verification steps
